Microsoft has added its AI assistant Copilot to Windows 11 autorun.
This is stated in the MSPowerUser report.
Initially, Copilot was abandoned for autorun in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23615. But the idea was abandoned. However, last week Copilot reappeared in Insider Build 26100.
These changes were confirmed by the senior manager of the Microsoft Insider Program.
Developers and experts call these changes disgusting and annoying, as it “resembles the behavior of some annoying third-party application.”
However, there is one caveat here: Copilot will not appear on all monitors. This requires a minimum screen size of 27 inches and a resolution of 1920 pixels.

It is likely that Microsoft will significantly expand or even include Copilot in the autostart of any system in the future.
Windows 11 Insider users who don't want to see Copilot can disable it in Task Manager, just like any other annoying startup program.
Note that Microsoft has recently been pleasing users with frequent advertising of Copilot – in the “Settings” interface in Windows 11 there were banners advertising a subscription to the service.
There was also a case where some Windows 11 users had a huge QR code appear in the center of the lock screen that redirected to the Copilot download page.
