The GeForce RTX 4060 video card was initially released with a price of $300, for which it was actively criticized, since the increase relative to the RTX 3060 was often small. Now the new card is finally starting to get cheaper.
In the US, the cheapest options start at $280, although in general there are not many cards priced below $300 yet. But in Europe the situation, interestingly, is more attractive. There prices start at 287 euros, but this already includes taxes, unlike American prices.
RTX 4060 remains the most affordable offering in the RTX 40 line, and it's unclear whether anything will come out cheaper. The card supports ray tracing and DLSS 3, while consuming little power. AMD has a more affordable Radeon RX 7600, which starts at 255 euros in Europe. The performance of the two cards is approximately the same.
