BYD Auto has announced that its new Qin L sedan will be unveiled soon. A company spokesperson said that the BYD Qin L will «lead the new mid-level car trend».
The new car continues to use the BYD Dragon Face design language. It will get a very large air intake grille with C-shaped air ducts on both sides.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, its length is 4830 mm, width — 1900 mm, height — 1495 mm, and the wheelbase — 2790 mm. The 1.5 liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kW, and the speed is limited to 180 km/h.
The fifth generation DM-i hybrid technology has reduced consumption to 2.9 l/100 km, and the range with full fuel and full refueling will be 2000 km.
The new car is equipped with an LCD panel and a large central screen, under which there are two wireless charging panels, and a large number of physical buttons on the steering wheel.
