Chery clearly did not expect to collect orders for more than 10 thousand cars in a month and a half
Chery has announced a compensation system for those who ordered the latest Luxeed S7 sedan, created jointly with Huawei, but will not be able to receive it within the predetermined time frame. For each day of delay beyond the agreed period (it is different for different configurations), the company will pay 200 yuan per day – this is approximately 2.5 thousand rubles.
At the moment, the volume of orders for Luxeed S7 has exceeded 10 thousand cars, and this is in just a month and a half. It seems that the Chinese company did not count on such a volume of demand.
Recall, Luxeed S7 – This is a fairly large sedan: the car's dimensions are 4971 × 1963 × 1474 mm with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. The top version has two electric motors with a total power of 496 hp. and a power reserve of up to 855 km (according to the CLTC methodology). The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. There is support for ultra-fast charging: 430 km in 15 minutes of connection to the terminal.
