Official warranty promised – 3 years or 100 thousand km
The MG Motor brand, owned by SAIC Motor, has already announced its ambitious plans to enter the Russian market, and now Daria Sapunova, director of marketing and advertising of Mir-Distributor LLC, is exclusive distributor of MG Motor in Russia, told how the new brand will conquer Russians.
The distributor's representative focuses on customer service: there shouldn't be any problems that owners of other “Chinese” cars have encountered.
«MG – the largest brand in terms of export volume from China. All our processes have been streamlined for a long time: both the supply of spare parts and technical support. Official dealers have direct access to the manufacturer's catalog, where you can find a part by a specific VIN code. This distinguishes them from the "gray" car services, which have to look for components using workarounds and often face the fact that the found parts are not suitable», – told by Daria Sapunova.
She also added that the advantage of the new brand is the more affordable cost of spare parts: «We analyzed the cost of spare parts necessary for repairs after a small frontal collision. It turned out that the retail price of parts for MG cars recommended by us as a distributor is almost half lower than the cost of components for cars of comparable class from other brands».
MG cars will receive «a reliable and durable naturally aspirated engine, as well as a variator, "digesting" 180 N·m of torque». According to Daria Sapunova, the engine can be converted to gas. Finally, owners of MG cars in Russia will be able to count on a warranty of 3 years or 100 thousand km.
