The astronauts will remain on the ISS until June 18 and will go into outer space

The crew of Boeing's first manned Starliner mission will remain on the International Space Station (ISS) longer than planned. According to NASA, the astronauts will return to Earth no earlier than Tuesday, June 18. They will have time to perform a spacewalk: extravehicular activity is scheduled for June 13. During this time, engineers will check the ship's systems.

Boeing Starliner launched to the ISS on June 5 after many postponements. This is his first manned launch — it has previously flown unmanned twice, in 2019 and 2022. On June 6, the ship successfully docked to the space station, despite difficulties in flight:  5 attitude control engines out of the available 28.
