It looks like the latest Chinese Nissan Pathfinder
Nissan presented the new generation Kicks crossover today in the USA. All the details have not yet been announced (for example, the dimensions have not been disclosed, although the company says that the new car is larger than its predecessor), but the creators spoke about the key innovations.
Nissan Kicks 2025 received a new exterior. The V-Motion grille makes it look similar to the Chinese Nissan Pathfinder that just hit the market. The car received multi-tiered lighting equipment and a combined color scheme with a «floating roof» (or simply a darkened rear pillar).
The interior has also been redesigned. In front of the driver — screen panel with two displays diagonal 12.3 inches (in the basic version, the infotainment system screen is 7 inches). The media system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless interfaces. In the database — a set of driver assistance systems under the general name Nissan Safety Shield 360, and for an additional fee the ProPILOT Assist semi-autonomous driving system (a first for Kicks), a surround view system and BOSE acoustics with 10 speakers are available.
Big upgrade under the hood: the place of the 1.6-liter 122-horsepower engine was taken by a 2.0-liter unit with 141 hp. It works in conjunction with a variator, but the torque is now distributed not to two wheels, but to all four.
Sales of the new product in the USA will start at the end of summer, prices will be announced closer to that time. Well, the first public debut of the Nissan Kicks 2025 will take place very soon — next week at the New York Auto Show.
