By the end of the year the car will go to government agencies
AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that the car plant is going to produce 3 thousand premium Lada Aura cars in 2024. This model is intended primarily for Russian government agencies and is intended to replace foreign cars in their fleets.
In the future, Lada Aura will be produced on the same car assembly line as Lada Vesta, at a speed of about five cars per hour, Sokolov said. Serial production of Lada Aura is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024. Also, the head of AvtoVAZ mentioned that the Lada Aura will go to government agencies before the end of this year.
We will release a production Lada Aura car on the assembly line in Tolyatti; it will no longer be in a pre-production format, but will be put on the assembly line and will go to the garages of government agencies by the end of the year.
