The car has become more powerful
Audi has published the first photos and details about the 2025 Audi S3.
The car features a new front end with a redesigned grille as well as a redesigned logo. It also received a sportier bumper and different headlights.
The model is equipped with a new rear bumper with corner reflectors located in a recess simulating an air vent. Also visible are new taillights, an Akrapovic exhaust and a much more aggressive diffuser.
The car is equipped with an upgraded 2.0-liter four-cylinder TFSI engine. It produces 328 hp. and torque of 420 Nm, which means an increase of 23 hp. and 20 Nm compared to its predecessor. Thanks to the additional power, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.7 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission for improved responsiveness. As explained by Audi, “gear shift times at full load have been halved, and engine speed has increased at part load when the transmission is set to position D.”
In addition, the model was equipped with a torque divider, which provides «active, fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels». McPherson struts with a new pivot bearing allow for more negative camber, resulting in improved steering response as well as better grip when cornering.
Stiffer wishbones, an optimized steering system, a new Dynamic Plus mode and new tires from Falken have been installed. The model also received upgraded brakes and a new generation electronic stabilization system.
