Federal Passenger Company (FPK, a subsidiary of Russian Railways) will launch an updated high-speed train «Aurora» between Moscow and St. Petersburg. High-speed branded train «Aurora» shuttled between cities from 1963 to 2010, and then it was replaced by «Sapsan». «Aurora» will return to service later this year with two flights per day in both directions.

The interior is made in blue, gray and beige tones, the cars are equipped with a diffused lighting system “starry sky”. In the updated «Aurora» There will be two classes of cars: with improved and standard seat layout. The travel time along the route will be about 5.5 hours, Russian Railways said. At the same time, the new train will be able to carry more than 1 thousand passengers.
