In just a few days — May 7 — Apple will introduce new iPad Pro tablets. According to recent data, they may be based on the new Apple M4 SoC with an emphasis on artificial intelligence. During the same presentation, we may be shown the first examples of the practical application of AI in the Apple ecosystem.
It is reported that we should not expect any large-scale demonstration, since Apple has saved all this until WWDC-2024, when they will show us iOS 18 and all the new AI features. However, some things, apparently, will have to be shown now in order to «sell» users of the new iPad Pro, especially if they actually receive the M4 SoC six months after the release of the M3.
Recall that recently there were rumors that Apple will focus on AI models that will run locally on the company's devices, whereas now smartphone manufacturers mainly use cloud services to run AI functions.
