Anti-Russian sanctions backfired on Boeing: aircraft production will decline

The joint venture for the production of heat exchangers for air conditioning systems was previously closed

Boeing encountered problems in the production of aircraft as a result of sanctions that were imposed against Russia, as TASS writes with reference to the authoritative publication The Wall Street Journal.

One of the problems is related to heat exchangers for the air conditioning system in aircraft, which were produced by a joint venture before the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine and the imposition of sanctions against Russia. In March 2022, the joint venture was closed and production was moved to the West.

It is noteworthy that the joint venture coped with the demands of the aircraft manufacturing company, but now, as Boeing increases production, the new factories cannot provide the required volume of components.

Boeing has already stated that due to this problem, aircraft production will slow down in the coming months.

Previously it became known that the second informant about defects in Boeing aircraft has died in the United States.
