The airline plans to put them into operation by 2030
Russian airline «Aeroflot» plans to put into operation 339 new domestic aircraft by 2030. The head of Aeroflot told reporters about this. Sergey Alexandrovsky during the international exhibition-forum «Russia». According to him, the airline has already ordered 339 new Russian-made aircraft: 89 short-haul Sukhoi Superjet, 210 MS-21 aircraft and 40 Tu-214 aircraft.
Alexandrovsky noted that all these airliners are planned to be put into operation before 2030; new aircraft will allow the company to expand the geography of flights. Previously, we wrote that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered the construction of more than 600 entirely Russian airliners in six years. The basis of the fleet of Russian airlines in the coming years should be SSJ-New, MC-21-310, Il-114-300, Tu-214 and Il-96-300.
