A Russian cosmonaut, a NASA astronaut and a representative of Belarus will come on board
State Corporation «Roscosmos» announced the launch date of the manned spacecraft «Soyuz MS-25» to the International Space Station (ISS). It is reported that the ship is scheduled to depart on March 21, 2024. The crew of Expedition 21 to the ISS will include Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson and cosmonaut from Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya.
«Roscosmos» also presented the emblem of the crew of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, which includes the names of the participants with the flags of their countries, the Roscosmos logo and an image of the manned spacecraft itself flying to the ISS. At the bottom of the emblem is Mount Kazbek — crew call sign.
It was previously reported that Vasilevskaya and Novitsky will make a short flight and return to Earth on the Soyuz MS-24, and Dyson will stay on the ISS until September 2024, after which she will return to Earth together with Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub on the «Soyuz MS-25».
