A resident of Romania collected a collection of 3,456 different mobile phones and set a Guinness record

The world's largest collection of mobile phones includes 3,456 different devices, and this is a new Guinness record.

Romanian resident Andrei Bilbie Argentis collected this entire collection at home. For comparison, the previous Guinness World Record was 2,779 phones.

What's even more impressive is that Argentis doesn't actually have 3,456 mobile phones, but several thousand more, but everything else other than that number is duplicates.

It is also interesting that the author of the record began collecting phones relatively recently: in 2018.
