A new Fallout has been created – unofficially and in Excel

Many people naively believe that in Excel you can only work with banal tables, but enthusiasts are capable of a lot

The Fallout franchise attracts players from all over the world. Among them are talented enthusiasts who want to make their own game in the spirit of the original.

It turns out that you can develop an entire game in the spirit of Fallout inside Excel, an application for working with spreadsheets.

Dynamic Pear presented an unusual project – he wanted to make games, but he never had the skills or time. But he often worked with Excel and an idea came into his head: to make a Fallout-style role-playing game in Excel.

War never changes—everything remains the same in the Excel project. The events of this Fallout-like game take place in a post-apocalyptic world that has survived a nuclear war: the hero wanders in new conditions. As in the “full-fledged” games of the Fallout series, there is a quest system and a kind of combat.
