Core i5-13500H replaced with Core i5-12450H
Xiaomi announced the 2024 RedmiBook 16 is now available for pre-order on Xiaomi Youpin at a price of $475 for 16/512 GB and $500 for 16 GB/1 TB.
RedmiBook 16 2024 received a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 400 cd/sq.m. The screen provides coverage of 100% of the sRGB color space. It has been certified by Rheinland for low blue light and no flicker.
The laptop has an all-metal body with a thickness of about 15.9 mm and a weight of about 1.63 kg; equipped with a 56 Wh battery and a 100 W GaN adapter. The laptop can play local 1080P video for 14 hours. It is equipped with four microphones and two speakers. The laptop supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.
The laptop is equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core i5-12450H processor. It is worth noting that in November a version with a Core i5-13500H was released, which cost $615-655, depending on the amount of memory.
The device is equipped with a 3.5 mm audio interface, HDMI2.1, two USB-A3.2 Gen1, one full-featured USB-C3.2 Gen2 and one USB-2.0.
