It’s easier to navigate many Steam games with the tag system, but not all player preferences are reflected in them at the moment. The authors of Dwarf Fortress and Deep Rock Galactic have teamed up to expand the list
Just recently, the creators of Dwarf Fortress and Deep Rock Galactic asked the community for help. They wanted to add a new Dwarf (gnome/dwarf) tag to Steam. ” Many people responded to the call and achieved what they wanted very, very quickly.
Steam users managed to ensure that not only the “Dwarf” tag appeared in the Valve service, but also tag “Elf” (Elf). The first games have already received similar tags, in addition to the obvious games – Dwarf Fortress and Deep Rock Galactic – Cave Crawlers, Dwarf Journey and many others fell under the Dwarf tag (you can see it at the link). Games with the Elf tag can be found here, for example Mostly Intense Monster Defense and Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
Publisher Kitfox Games decided to celebrate the appearance of the “Dwarf” tag by talking about a couple of notable “dwarf” projects that fit this tag – Forgotten Mines and Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot.
