The number of options for customizing the appearance of characters in The Sims 4 is increasing. Maxis has prepared another update
The creators of The Sims 4 continue to expand the options for customizing the appearance of Sims (characters). With a recent update they introduced “Vitiligo”, the developers have a collab with Winnie Harlow (model with vitiligo).
Vitiligo is a disease characterized by the loss of natural pigmentation in the skin due to the destruction of melanin. Outwardly, it looks like “spots of a different color” on human skin.
For The Sims 4, Maxis artists presented 61 variants of vitiligo for characters of all ages and all skin colors. The color of vitiligo “spots” varies depending on skin color.
You can add a vitiligo Sim to The Sims 4 through the standard character editor, you can select “spots” for the face, upper and lower torso, arms and legs. For some “spots”, several options have been provided that differ in intensity (take the least noticeable or the most noticeable). Currently, vitiligo does not affect the hair, but the developers do not rule out that they may work on this point in the future.
Vitiligo does not affect the gameplay, and if desired, spots can be added/removed at any time.
