The Chinese resource Board Channels Forums reported that in the first quarter of 2024, Nvidia will discontinue the GeForce GTX 16 line of budget video cards: the GeForce GTX 1650, GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1630 will be retired.
What will these models replace — unclear. But perhaps Nvidia will introduce «replacements» before these popular inexpensive (GeForce GTX 1650 — in second place in the ranking of the most popular video cards among Steam users in November) models disappear from store shelves.
Board Channels Forums is represented by employees of companies that produce video cards, as well as employees of system integrators and companies that produce finished devices under contract. Previously, the resource repeatedly leaked data, which was subsequently fully confirmed.
