Details about the camera of Apple's flagship smartphone, which will be called iPhone 16 Pro Max, were published by the famous insider Digital Chat Station.
He confirmed last year’s information that the main camera will receive the flagship Sony IMX903 image sensor of 1/1.14-inch optical format, with a resolution of 48 megapixels. Digital Chat Station added that the sensor will be equipped with dual-layer transistors, a 14-bit ADC and a dual conversion gain (DCG) system that converts the light signal into an electrical signal based on the light level of the scene.
The smartphone will also be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, but the maximum optical zoom value has not yet been specified.
The presentation of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected in September this year if Apple sticks to its chosen schedule.
