As we have just seen, the Ryzen 7 8700G has a record-breaking performance iGPU for the desktop segment. But it can be made even faster if you overclock the core itself and at the same time the RAM.
Tests have shown that if the iGPU frequency is raised from 2900 MHz to 3400 MHz, and the RAM is overclocked to DDR5-8400, the performance increase will be a very good 17%.
In 3DMark, this allows the new APU to reach the level of the GTX 1650, but we have already seen tests in games, so even such an increase will not allow us to catch up with the old Nvidia video card. However, this will reduce the gap between the APU and the video card by about 30%.
