Several versions starting at $1000
In addition to the new Surface Pro, Microsoft also introduced a new Surface Laptop. Also on Snapdragon X and also from the new Copilot+ category.
The new product is available in versions with a 15-inch screen and a 13.8-inch diagonal screen. The Surface Laptop 13.8 can rely on both Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite, but the Surface Laptop 15 is only available with Snapdragon X Elite.
In both cases there is 16 or 32 GB of RAM and an SSD with a capacity of 256 GB to 1 TB. The smaller model received a display with a resolution of 2304 x 1536 pixels with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 600 cd/sq.m. The older one has the same basic parameters, but the resolution is already 2496 x 1664 pixels. At the same time, the pixel density is identical and amounts to 201 per inch.
For the smaller model, Microsoft promises up to 20 hours of video playback, and for the older model it’s already 22 hours. At the same time, the youngest weighs 1.34 kg, and the eldest weighs 1.66 kg. Both models have two USB4 ports, one USB 3.1, a Surface Connect connector, and the older one also has a slot for microSD. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are also available for all modifications.
Surface Laptop 13.8 starts at $1000, which is still the minimum for Copilot+ PC, and for the older one they ask from $1200. Pre-orders are already being accepted, but deliveries will only start in June.
