PlayStation 5 is of interest not only to players and resellers. They also attracted miners, but for a different reason
A remarkable lot has been put up for sale, allowing you to see how engineers use PlayStation 5 chips for mining. Photos of the ASRock mining rig have appeared on eBay.
The unit was equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory; in the lot description it was specified that a radiator was used (removed to take photos). The seller does not hide the fact that the system worked 24/7 for about a year.
One unit was valued at $500 dollars, for this money you can buy a new PS5 Digital Edition and still have $50 left (or PS5 with disc drive for 500).
