Lava has introduced a new smartphone Storm 5G in India — just a week after the announcement of another new product Lava Yuva 3 Pro in the same market. But the Lava Storm 5G model is equipped a little better and, accordingly, more expensive. In addition, as the name suggests, it supports 5G cellular communications. The device is built on SoC MediaTek Dimensity 6080 and runs Android 13 OS (the manufacturer promises to update the software to Android 14).

Lava Storm 5G is equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone also received 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory (there is also a microSD slot), a fingerprint scanner on the side, 50-megapixel main and 16-megapixel front cameras and a 5000 mAh battery with support for 33-watt fast charging. The device is available in black and light green colors, its price is 11,999 rupees (about $144), sales in India will begin from December 28.
