Insider Ice Universe published a photo of a Samsung Galaxy S24 with 16 GB of RAM. It turned out that enthusiasts (as the informant himself said, from among his subscribers) have learned to double the amount of RAM.
This is done by disassembling the smartphone and replacing the memory chip with a similar one, but with twice the capacity. Interestingly, this is where all the rework ends – The operating system fully supports this amount of RAM. True, during disassembly there is a risk of damaging the smartphone, but such a risk always exists with manipulations of this kind.
