About 2 thousand vehicles have a full set of components

At the Russian Hyundai plant (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus, HMMR) they restarted the assembly of Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris sedans. But the pace is slow: according to auto expert and host of the Telegram channel «Russian Automobile» Sergey Tsyganov, in the period from January 9 to 19, they will collect approximately 5 cars per day.

A complete set of components is available for about 2 thousand cars, and another 20 thousand can be assembled if you get electronic components. But the example of «Avtotor» He says that this is quite a feasible task. But the remaining 50 thousand require «more serious completion and additional stamping». Therefore, it is now impossible to say exactly how many Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris will be assembled in Russia.

«Closing of the deal to transfer the plant to "Avilon" (aka AGR, aka "Art-finance") is planned for the end of January. But "Avilon" already considers himself the new owner and takes Chinese delegations to KhMR. Representatives of the two main partners of "Avilon" – GAC and Chery are expecting a representative of another Chinese company in the coming days», – adds Sergey Tsyganov.
