246 hp, consumption of only 3.8/100 km and a range of 1300 km on a tank of gasoline – for 12.5 thousand dollars
Geely launched the new Geely Emgrand L HiP Dragon Edition sedan on the home market – This is the most powerful version of the car, but it is also the most economical due to the use of a hybrid power plant.
But most importantly: Emgrand has become more accessible. With the same hybrid system as the Geely Emgrand L HiP Champion Edition, the car became more affordable by $2.8 thousand – the price dropped to 12.5 thousand dollars. It is possible that the release of the Geely Emgrand L HiP Dragon Edition – this is a response to the price war launched yesterday by BYD.
The dimensions of the car are 4735 x 1815 x 1495 mm, wheelbase – 2700 mm. The power plant, consisting of a 1.5-liter turbo engine, a three-speed DHT transmission and two electric motors, produces a total of 256 hp. That is, the hybrid Chinese Emgrand is twice as powerful as the Russian one, approximately twice as economical and cheaper. The capacity of the traction battery was 15.5 kW·h, the range on pure electricity– 100 km. Average consumption is stated at 3.8 l/100 km, maximum range – 1300 km. It’s interesting that even though the car has become cheaper, the equipment is exactly the same as that of the Champion Edition version.
