Ubisoft's 2023-2024 fiscal year isn't over yet, but the company reported a strong third quarter in its new earnings report. The stability is explained by several releases at the end of 2023 after an empty first half.

The French company did not provide exact figures for new releases like Assassin's Creed Mirage. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and January's Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown have equally vague numbers. The first game is seen as a game for the long term, while the second is noted for “Ubisoft's ability to revive iconic brands.” exceeded initial expectations. Due to a licensing agreement with Tencent, revenue from Assassin's Creed Jade is not included in this figure.

Overall, third quarter sales were up 43.1% compared to last quarter year. And over the nine-month period of 2023-2024, sales increased by 45.1%.

Ubisoft refuses further activities with VR devices. Guillemot noted good sales of Assassin's Creed Nexus VR, but interest in the technology is not yet high enough.

Star Wars Outlaws is called the first open-world game in the series and will be released in 2024. Assassin's Creed Red will be released in March 2025. The “promising lineup” for 2024-2025 will be announced in May.
