AvtoVAZ has chosen eight new potential names for its cars: the trademarks Retiva, Merida, Tarusa, Altra, Azimut, XTour, Gravis and Astera are registered in several classes of the international classification, including passenger cars.< /p>

Naturally, this does not mean that all these names are implemented in production models — Automakers often register trademarks “in reserve.” However, the company is working on at least two new machines — minivan and crossover based on Lada Vesta, and they can choose brands including from these eight.
