Everything is bad. An insider shared the financial performance of the latest Ubisoft games

Ubisoft employees are well aware that questionable decisions by management are to blame, because of which the company’s reputation has long been at its lowest point.

Insider Tom Hendersen managed to find out the number of players and financial indicators of Ubisoft's latest games.

  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Despite much positive feedback from the gaming community and press, the Metroidvania's user base is 300,000 players, which helped earn Ubisoft $15 million
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The sandbox was able to attract the attention of 1.9 million players and earn $133 million. For comparison, The Division (2016) and The Division 2 (2019) brought Ubisoft $330 million and $264 million, respectively
  • Assassin's Creed Mirage in the first few weeks after release. The next game in the Assassin's Creed series gathered 5 million players and brought Ubisoft $250 million

Ubisoft itself is not discouraged and really hopes that Star Wars Outlaws and the new Assassin's Creed, codenamed Red, which will be released in 2024, will bring the company a lot of money. Apparently, even Ubisoft itself doesn’t believe in the success of Skull and Bones.
