The team of the Bittrex Global cryptocurrency exchange announced unpleasant news for its users – from Monday, December 4, 2023 at 21:00 Moscow time, all trading activity on Bittrex Global will be stopped. This is reported on social networks and on the project website.
Bittrex Global explained:
It is with great regret that we announce that Bittrex Global has decided to close its operations. This decision has not been made lightly and we understand the inconvenience this may cause to our valued customers.
After this date, clients will only be able to withdraw assets as part of the winding down process. All activity on the platform will be stopped, with the exception of withdrawals. Bittrex Global added:
We understand that the news may raise concerns and questions and want to reassure you that we are committed to facilitating a smooth and transparent winding-up process during this period.
The company also assured that all funds and tokens remain secure on the global Bittrex platform and are available for withdrawal.
There is currently no deadline for withdrawals. However, the company “strongly recommends” clients to withdraw funds as quickly as possible, since the deadline may be set by the liquidators of the business.
