Galaxy S24 Plus “bited off” one percent of the share from the Galaxy S24 and five percent from the Galaxy S24 Ultra
Counterpoint Research analysts have published data on sales of Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones for the first three weeks of this year (since the sales stratum). And there is something interesting — not in the sales themselves (they grew by 8% relative to the Galaxy S23 line over the same period of time), but in the structure.
Sales of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus showed impressive growth, and its share in the line’s sales structure increased from 15 to 21%. But if it arrives somewhere, it means that it leaves somewhere: in fact, the Galaxy S24 Plus took away users from both the Galaxy S24 (to a lesser extent) and the Galaxy S24 Ultra (to a much greater extent).
Analysts also noted that pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones (compared to the Galaxy S23 line) increased in the US, Europe and China.
