6.56-inch screen, 13-megapixel camera, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory – but the price is a little more than $100
HMD has introduced a new smartphone called HMD Aura. This is an inexpensive model with an IPS display with a diagonal of 6.56 inches and a resolution — 900×1600 pixels. In design, the device is reminiscent of the recently introduced HMD Pulse+, only instead of a hole in the display for the front camera, the new product has a teardrop-shaped cutout.
HMD Aura is built on the Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset, equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, and supports microSD cards. The resolution of the main camera is 13 megapixels, and the front one is 5 megapixels. There is also a fingerprint sensor located on the back under the flash. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 10W charging via USB-C. The device runs Android 13.
The HMD Aura smartphone is available in green and dark purple colors. While it's quietly launched in Australia, there's no word on availability in other markets. The cost of the new item is 180 Australian dollars, which is approximately 118 US dollars.
