Sony is gradually releasing PlayStation exclusives on PC, but a significant portion still remains on consoles. Not everyone is happy with this state of affairs, for example those waiting for Bloodborne on PC
Dsogaming noticed how things are going with one of the PlayStation 4 emulators called fpPS4. As it turned out, the authors of this project managed to achieve some success, now fpPS4 launches 144 games for PS4.
As often happens with PlayStation 4 emulators, launching a game is just the beginning. Then various nuances emerge: they report that only 108 projects out of 144 can be played (however, in the case of emulators, the very fact of launching a game is already considered some kind of achievement).
On fpPS4 tried to run the alpha version of Bloodborne and got 1 FPS (one frame/sec.) in the menu, so at the moment it’s clearly too early to rejoice at “Bloodborne on PC”.
We also checked such well-known PlayStation exclusives as Ghost of Tsushima, Gran Turismo, God of War: Ragnarok and Shadow of the Colossus – they cannot be launched on fpPS4 yet.
The journalist is not too optimistic in his assessment: he assumes that these PS4 projects will not work on emulators in the coming years.
