The Yandex team spoke about the innovations that appeared in the digital assistant «Alice» and branded smart devices.
With the help of «Alice» Now you can manage Yandex Calendar, including adding events using voice commands. It is also possible to quickly contact support – a simple voice command in the style: “Alice, contact support.”
When playing music, the «crossfade» function has been improved. (smooth transition between tracks) – If there is no music playing at the end of a song for a long time, playback will smoothly transition to the next song.
A big update has arrived for TVs and modules running YaOS (Yandex TV). The main page has been updated, making it easier to find movies or TV series that you haven’t finished watching, as well as recently opened applications, external devices or TV channels.
A new music player has appeared on all TVs running YaOS. Switching tracks and playing order is now easier thanks to the new distribution of player controls across the screen.
