The letter of intent has already been signed
Far Eastern Airlines «Aurora» and «Ural Civil Aviation Plant» (UZGA) within the framework of the exhibition-forum «Russia» signed an agreement of intent regarding the supply of promising Russian TVRS-44 «Ladoga» aircraft. The parties agreed to agree on the conditions for the supply of aircraft, including determining the configuration of the aircraft, the composition of the equipment, warranty obligations and a package of after-sales services.
According to the airline's press service, the parties intend to enter into an agreement for the supply of 15 Ladoga aircraft. The leading leasing company of Russia will be attracted for the subsequent transfer of aircraft equipment to «Aurora» for leasing to carry out socially significant transportation and aviation work in the Far Eastern Federal District, where aviation plays a key role in the transport accessibility of the region.
TVRS-44 «Ladoga» — a promising twin-engine turboprop regional aircraft designed to carry up to 44 passengers. «Ladoga» UZGA is being created by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to replace the outdated fleet of Soviet aircraft An-24/26 and Yak-40. The aircraft will be able to fly at extreme temperatures and in the most difficult climatic conditions; it will be able to take off from asphalt or concrete airfields, and from dirt or snow strips. The first flight of the new Russian aircraft should take place this year.
