The Moscow Department of Transport shared the latest statistics on electric scooter rental services. Since the beginning of the 2024 season, users of electric scooter rentals have received 50 thousand fines from operators, and another 52 thousand accounts have been blocked.
The department emphasized:
Scooter — not entertainment, but transport. It is important to drive it safely and not disturb pedestrians and other road users.
The most common violations were parking in the wrong place, riding a scooter together and driving through a pedestrian crossing.

The State Traffic Inspectorate conducts regular inspections. Employees of the Data Center Situation Center see the traffic situation online via cameras 24/7. Rental operators are fined for violating driving rules and terms of service, and also block accounts for systematic and gross violations of traffic rules and rental by minors.
