Arrowhead Game Studios has decided to provide quality releases, so a major patch for Helldivers 2 has been delayed

The Helldivers 2 team has prepared a major patch after a long delay. There is also a new warbond (a local analogue of a battle pass with valuable rewards) available.

In patch 1.000.400 they decided to review the recoil, balance and make the use of some weapon models and stratagems more attractive.

Some changes in patch 1.000.400 for Helldivers 2.

Updated recoil stance modifiers:

«We've made some changes to the recoil stance modifiers to make them more consistent and also encourage prone shooting. The values ​​below show the impact of recoil in various situations before and after the changes»

  • Third Person

– Standing:

Still: 100% -> unchanged

On the move: 150% -> no changes

– Crouched:

Still: 50% -> 60%

On the move: 125% -> 100%

– Lying:

Still: 50% -> 40%

  • View through the sight

— Standing:

Still: 100% -> 90%

On the move: 100% -> 110%

– Crouched:

Still: 75% -> 60%

On the move: 125% -> 90%

– Lying:

Still: 50% -> 40%

Rifle ammo is now slightly more effective against hard parts (“solid” generally refers to massive parts that have no vital organs or a lot of empty space), changes affected:

Developers explained: “In general, the larger the caliber of the weapon, the more damage you will do to hard parts. Explosions are also very effective against hard parts, as the shock wave penetrates everything. Some weapons are more effective than others or have special abilities, but they operate in accordance with the mechanics described above.”

“Orbital Precision Strike”:

“”Orbital Precision Strike” was originally intended to combat enemy spawn points and stationary enemy positions. However, this did not stop players from using them in almost any situation.

So we wanted to make them easier to use against moving targets by reducing the summoning time. We've also reduced the cooldown time to make Orbital Precision Strike more accessible and more competitive with Eagle Stratagems.”
