For data centers and AI
The Chinese company Moore Threads introduced a new MTT S4000 graphics card, which is equipped with a huge amount of memory.
This is not a consumer graphics card, but an accelerator for the data center and for AI. The new product is based on a GPU with third-generation MUSA architecture. The GPU configuration is unknown, but many other details are known.
The performance of the adapter in FP32 mode is 25 TFLOPS, which is slightly lower than that of the RTX 4070, and in FP16/BF16 mode, which is more important for AI, it already reaches 100 TOPS. In INT8 mode we are talking about 200 TOPS.
The S4000 is also equipped with 48 GB of GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 16 GHz, and the bandwidth reaches 768 GB/s. Among the rest, we can highlight support for PCIe 5.0, four video outputs and the ability of the adapter to simultaneously process up to 96 video streams in Full HD.
There is no data yet on power consumption and the technical process used to produce the GPU. Considering that this is a specialized AI solution developed in-house by a Chinese company, these issues are unlikely to worry customers Moore Threads.
