Lu Weibing, who heads Xiaomi Group's mobile division after Lei Jun switched completely to electric vehicles, started the week with active promotion of Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
In the next teaser, he describes the basis of photography, talking about how much better the main image sensor has become, further enhanced by the new Leica Summilux lens.
Light – image source. The more light that enters, the richer the image. With the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the amount of light reaching the image sensor has increased significantly. Thanks to the new Leica Summilux lens and the second generation one-inch image sensor with a maximum aperture of F/1.63, illumination has reached a new level.

The poster claims that the new Leica Summilux lens comprehensively enhances light hitting the sensor at full focal length. The main module uses a second-generation Sony LYT-900 inch sensor, and implements a second-generation continuously variable aperture system with a maximum value of F/1.63.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was previously announced to feature a 3.2x portrait lens and a 5x periscope telephoto lens.
