The appearance of the main character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was given by the legendary actor Harrison Ford, and he will speak in the voice of a veteran video game voice actor.
MachineGames co-founder and lead designer Jerk Gustafsson confirmed this in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, mentioning that Baker is a “huge Indiana Jones fan” and is “incredibly” interested in playing the role authentically.
According to Gustafsson, he flew to MachineGames in the very early on in the project and “really brought the charm and sense of humor of Indiana Jones to the game.”
Baker has previously voiced characters such as Joel Miller from The Last of Us, as well as Sam Drake in Naughty Dog's Indiana Jones-inspired Uncharted series. The game's cast includes Italian actress Alessandra Mastronardi as investigative journalist Gina Lombardi and Greek-German actor Marios Gavrilis as villain Emmerich Voss.
