Game industry veterans got together and founded an independent AAA studio called emptyvessel

Veterans of the gaming industry who worked on DOOM, Quake, Call of Duty, Borderlands, Tomb Raider, The Callisto Protocol, The Last of Us and other AAA projects came together and founded emptyvessel studio.

emptyvessel “committed to breaking away from traditional business models and working together towards a shared vision of a future based on people’s talents and creativity”< /em>.

emptyvessel was led by Emanual Palalik, who took on the role of executive director, and Garrett Young, who became chief operating officer and manager. Both once held high positions at id Software.

The team is already working on its debut project, which will be some kind of “immersive shooter” on Unreal Engine 5.
