The new car has become more modern and has lost its third screen
FAW today officially announced the release of the new FAW Bestune B70 liftback to the Russian market in the summer. The car is built on the FMA platform, the exterior and interior designs are completely new and much more modern. When creating the car, high-strength steel was used, which is why the body became more rigid and safe.
The new Bestune B70 differs from the current model by a completely redesigned front end with narrow headlights, which are united by an LED strip. Radiator grille — Frameless solution is now fashionable in China.
The dimensions of the second generation FAW Bestune B70 are 4855 × 1840 × 1455 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The machine is 45 mm longer than the Bestune B70, currently sold in Russia.
When creating a new car, the designers abandoned the third screen, which managed the climate control settings — Now everything is on the usual keys. The digital panel uses a 7-inch screen, the media system includes a screen with a diagonal of 12.3 inches.
Under the hood — 2-liter turbo engine with 224 hp, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is a big upgrade, since now in Russia a car is sold with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a «robot».
The cost of the new car has not yet been announced, but there is no doubt that the new Bestune B70 will be more expensive than the currently sold model.
