Dmitry Yadrov, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, said during a working visit to Sheremetyevo airport that Russian airlines carried more than 103 million passengers by the end of 2023.
«We provided more than 103 million passenger movements, — he said, noting that final data for 2023 will appear within a month. — We can say with confidence that the task assigned to us by the President and the Chairman of the Government has been completed».
Dmitry Yadrov added that compared to 2022, the growth of domestic traffic was 6.6%. A year earlier, Russian airlines carried 95.2 million passengers. In 2023, it was predicted that exactly 103 million people would be transported.
