But the technical process is still unknown
The super-flagship Huawei Pura70 Ultra has been presented. It has a retractable lens, an inch sensor and a price tag of almost $1,400.
Huawei today presented smartphones of the flagship Pura70 line, which received the new SoC Kirin 9010. There were no details about it initially, to the point that even Huawei itself does not mention anything at all on its own website in the description of the new smartphones platform. But now the details have become known.
Kirin 9010 has a 12-core processor in a 2 + 6 + 4 configuration. That is, it is still not an updated SoC Kirin 9000s, since the latter had an eight-core CPU. This alone should significantly improve productivity.
The frequencies, however, have decreased relative to the Kirin 9000s. The senior cluster operates at a frequency of 2.3 GHz, the middle — 2.18 GHz, and the lower one — 1.55 GHz. Probably, the frequencies were reduced in order to curb power consumption while increasing the number of cores.
GPU remained the same — Maleoon 910. But there is no data on the number of cores, so perhaps the graphics core has also become more productive.
The question of the technical process also remains open. SMIC promised to launch 5 nm chip production for Huawei this year, but it is unknown whether this applies to the Kirin 9010.
