The release of the first cars is scheduled for August
The commercial director of «RariTEK engineering» told about the bi-fuel versions of the Moskvich cars, which are planned to be produced in Naberezhnye Chelny. Ramil Ishmaev at a press conference on the development of the gas motor fuel market in Tatarstan.
Bi-fuel versions will run on gasoline and compressed gas (methane). The first cars are planned to be released in August 2024. The cars will be delivered directly from the Moscow Automobile Plant to Naberezhnye Chelny, where they will assemble and install gas equipment, engine compartment equipment, and also conduct final tests.
It is planned to re-equip two models of the crossover «Moskvich 3» and liftback «Moskvich 6». They will be on average 120-130 thousand rubles more expensive than standard options. That is, the price «Moskvich 3» will be 1.82-2.03 million rubles, and «Moskvich 6» – 2.33-2.53 million rubles.
Earlier at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the localization of Moskvich, as well as the fact that cars using a new type of fuel will begin to be assembled in Naberezhnye Chelny.
