Generations Arrow Lake-S
In the mobile segment, Intel has already abandoned the Core i brand, switching to regular Core and Core Ultra. On desktop, such a transition awaits us later this year with the release of Arrow Lake-S. And now we know what such CPUs will be called.
The insider listed six models of the future generation:
- Core Ultra 5 240
- Core Ultra 7 255
- Core Ultra 9 275
- Core Ultra 5 245K
- Core Ultra 7 265K
- Core Ultra 9 285K
Thus, instead of the Core i9-15900K, which would have been released if the naming principle had not changed, we are waiting for the Core Ultra 9 285K. Models without the K index, as always, will not have an unlocked multiplier.
Recall that the Arrow Lake generation, apparently from leaks, will lose Hyper-Threading support for large cores, and the number of cores and their configuration relative to Raptor Lake will not change, that is, the top CPU will receive 8 large and 16 small nuclei.
Insider OneRaichu was previously the first to talk about Alder Lake processors and the performance of the Radeon RX 6800 XT video card before their announcement.
