According to Roscosmos General Director Yuri Borisov, the first launch of the Angara rocket from the Vostochny Cosmodrome can be carried out in the first ten days of April 2024. Borisov mentioned this at the plenary session of the Korolev Readings, adding that construction work at the Angara missile launch complex at Vostochny are already 99% complete, and comprehensive tests are now being completed.
We are probably ready to launch the Angara in the first ten days of April. The rocket is already at Vostochny with an upper stage. This will be a new era, a new page in the development of the modern Russian Vostochny cosmodrome.

Previously it was assumed that the first launch of the «Angara» from the Vostochny Cosmodrome could take place in the first quarter of 2024, approximately in March. The first flight prototype of the heavy rocket «Angara-A5» arrived at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in early January of this year, and recently they began preparing it for the first launch.
