CDN makes websites load fast

VK Company (formerly Mail.ru Group) announced the launch of a new feature of the VK Cloud cloud platform. The CDN (Content delivery network) service has become available in Kazakhstan. It allows you to reduce the waiting time for loading a web page to 1 second and reduce the load on business infrastructure by up to 90%.

As noted in the press service, CDN ensures fast loading of websites, especially with a large amount of content: the average response time is up to 30 milliseconds. The system scales on demand without additional investment, which is especially important for highly loaded resources. Content is distributed among caching servers and delivered from the point closest to the user. As a result, the reliability of operation, the fault tolerance of resources and their protection from a sharp increase in traffic are increased.

VK Cloud Development Director in Kazakhstan Arman Nurushev said:

The demand for cloud services in Kazakhstan is growing from year to year. Businesses use cloud infrastructure to develop and launch digital products, and as an alternative to in-house computing resources. There is also growing interest in platform services, which open up additional opportunities to accelerate digital development and improve user experience. CDN is becoming one of these technologies. We are pleased to offer Kazakh companies cloud services that meet the requirements of local legislation.
